I guess I'm just posting for the sake of posting tonight. I saw an amazing film by David Cunningham this week called 'To End All Wars'. It was phenomenal, one of those hidden gems that just blow you away when you see it. I'm not going to review it, because my brother has already done great job of that. ( http://jarpin-ricci.blogspot.com/ ).
"Just so you know, everyone is telling us this movie is terrible, and leaving in the first 20 minutes, we're just telling people that so they are prepared".
Wow,
Today has been utterly mundane. There have, however, been a few passing distractions that I would like to note. Distraction#1 - I am alive, healthy, utterly blessed, and I have nice ankles. Distraction #2 - While driving to work today I started listening to an audio book that has been quite captivating! Distraction#3 - I drank 8 beers on the car ride home.......just kidding.
I started my 1st blog off, kind of lamely so maybe this will be better. I said that I loved movies. The last film I saw in the theatre was 'The Village', and I thought it wasn't too bad. I am a M. Night Shyamalan fan. It's basically an interesting story, creatively told, and relatively surprising. Shyamalan has a great knack for twisting the plot in such a surprising way, and yet when you look back you realize how obvious it all is. I didn't find the movie 'amazing' by any menas, but its the last film I saw, and this is one of my first blogs.
